The Garter Dress is one item that will become a staple in your wardrobe repertoire.

There are certain visual lines that the mind subliminally associates with allure and temptation. The front ruching is designed to fall right above where the straps for a garter belt would fall, and the mind connects the dots... The result is timelessly enticing without being gratuitous.

Worn over leggings, jeans, or tights, the front ruching can be lowered for a more casual look, or cinched up like the petticoats and bustles of the cabaret. Even when fully lowered in the front, the dress is cut lower in the back, hugging and accentuating your curves while giving you the comfort of full coverage.

The front bust can also be cinched looser or tighter, depending on the desired neckline or visual impression of bust size. As a busty woman, I find myself wanting to minimize the visual impression of my chest sometimes, so I cinch it tighter to make the overall area look smaller. For women with smaller busts wanting to maximize the visual appearance, I recommend cinching it a bit in the middle. Not too tight, not too loose.

One neckline I've found that is almost universally flattering on all women is the diamond-shaped halter neckline combined with the sweetheart bust. With the front ruching, you have the ability to control the depth of the sweetheart shape you prefer. This dress looks stunning on all body types, and highlights all bust sizes.

The back features ruching as well, leaving an overall impression of flattering gathers and dangling ties that swing when you walk.
