This is the cornerstone of the Mythica line.

I was craving a coat that was fitted, elegant, elven, warm but not bulky, and with detachable sleeves for various climates.

All of the style lines are based on the bone and muscle structure of the human body. With integrated stretch panels at the shoulders, bust and ribcage, it gives the soothing, hugging fit of a corset while also retaining the comfort and flexibility needed in urban life.

The Corset Jacket features the signature Renaissance-reminiscent tapered Mythica sleeves. The sleeves can be zipped open at the wrist or unsnapped at the elbow for your temperature comfort.

It features genuine steel spiral corset boning that stops at the midsection and right under the bust, to allow for a fit that's flattering on multiple body shapes.

Two side pockets zip shut and hold a phone while still holding to your curves. The pockets are designed to accentuate the impression of an hourglass shape, in addition to the already-slimming corset boning structure.

 As always, the signature hem and style lines of the Mythica Corset Jacket are designed to be be worn in conjunction with other Mythica pieces like the Zipper Capri Jeans.

The hem in the back comes to a slight point- the arcs accentuating the bottom, and reminding the mind subconsciously of thong lines.

 This jacket is lined with alternating satin and stretch-satin on the upper flexible bust and back panels.

The outer material of this particular sample is a slightly stretch turquoise twill. Private message me to order custom fabric choices.

Part of what makes this jacket so unique is that I will custom fit it to your measurements. It is one of my greatest life’s passions to keep the beautiful art of elegant patterning alive! I spent years in patterning school, working in couture bridal shops, and high-end world-renowned bridal design learning how to fit complex, highly-structured garments perfectly to each unique figure.
